Founded in 1970, the National Association of Community Health Centers, Inc. (NACHC) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to enhance and expand access to quality, community-responsive health care for America’s medically underserved and uninsured. In serving its mission, NACHC represents the nation’s network of over 1,000 Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) which serve 16 million people through 5,000 sites located in all of the 50 states, Puerto Rico, the District of Columbia, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Guam.

The Ohio Association of Community Health Centers (OACHC) is a non-profit, professional trade association representing all 36 of Ohio's Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs, or Community Health Centers). Our Mission is to ensure access to high-quality affordable health care for all Ohioans through the growth and development of Ohio's FQHCs. OACHC represents Ohio's 36 community health centers at over 150 sites in both urban and rural areas throughout the state. In 2008, community health centers provided care to over 415,000 Ohioans and recorded well over 1,400,000 patient visits.
