Lisa Evangelista, CEO
Lisa Evangelista, Chief Executive Officer was born and raised in Lancaster Ohio and earned her Bachelor of Science in accounting from Akron University. She later became a Certified Public Accountant. Lisa worked in the nursing home industry for over 20 years in Northeastern Ohio prior to returning to Lancaster in 2011. Lisa began her career at Fairfield Community Health Center as the CFO in May of 2012 and became the CEO in October 2014. She has diligently worked to build community relationships and currently sits on the board of directors for the Fairfield County District library, Community Action and the Ohio Association of Community Health Centers.
Dr. troy hampton, C.M.O.
Dr. Troy Hampton, Chief Medical Officer is an Ohio native with an undergraduate degree from Ohio State University. He attended medical school at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens and did his Residency Program with Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He is certified in family medicine and osteopathic manipulative treatment. Dr. Hampton served as a major in the United States Air Force where he was a family physician and flight surgeon. Professional and Society Memberships include; the American Osteopathic Association, the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, Society of Teachers of Family Medicine and the Association of Family Medicine Residency Directors. In addition to medicine, his interests include, theological studies, motorcycling and music which includes playing his guitar. He and his family reside in Fairfield County.
Stefani Stump, C.H.R.o.
Stefani Stump, Chief Human Resources Officer joined the team in 2014 shortly after graduating from Ohio University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Management. A Bremen native, Stefani has developed a well-rounded understanding of FCHC having worked and assisted in many areas within the organization; front office, billing, credentialing, payor enrollment and outreach and enrollment, to name a few.
Danny Fisher, C.F.O.
Danny Fisher, Chief Financial Officer was born and raised in New Lexington, Ohio. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Business from Muskingum University. Mr. Fisher brings with him 10 years of accounting and finance experience working with both individuals and organizations. He began his relationship with Fairfield Community Health Center first as a board member and joined the team in December 2014. He is involved with the Lancaster Young Professionals Network through the local Chamber of Commerce.
Lauree Althaus, Director of Accounts Receivable was born and raised in Fairfield County. She has studied at Ohio University Lancaster and earned her Certified Medical Assistant training at Fairfield Career Center. In August, 2017 Lauree became certified in Community Health Coding and Billing through the Association for Rural Health Professional Coding. When she joined Fairfield Community Health Center in 2009, she brought with her several years of experience in data entry in the health care field.
Kimberly Kull, Accounts Receivable Manager has been a resident of Lancaster for 25 years. She earned her Associates Degree in Business Management with a Major in Medical Administration in 1999 from Southeastern Business College and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Management with a major in Health Information Management in 2013 from DeVry University. An extensive background in medical billing from several different health care organizations has expanded Kim’s portfolio with multiple insurance carriers. She earned her Certified Professional Coder through the American Academy of Professional Coders in April 2017 and her Community Health Coding and Billing Specialist through the Association for Rural Health Professional Coding in August 2017.
Jennifer Ernest, Billing Specialist grew up in Fairfield County and earned her Certified Medical Office Assistant and Certified Insurance and Coding Specialist Certification in 2013. She began her career with Fairfield Community Health Center in 2013 where she worked as a receptionist and scheduler prior to joining the administrative team.
Jennifer Bales, Billing Specialist was born and raised in Lancaster, Ohio. She holds an Associate’s Degree in Finance from Columbus State Community College. Prior to joining Fairfield Community Health Center, Ms. Bales served as a teller supervisor in the banking industry. She and her twin girls are active in the Girl Scouts.
Emily Noice, Billing Specialist, is a Fairfield County native who earned her Associate’s Degree in Accounting at Ohio University in 2011. She brings with her Business Management background and has spent the last 5 years in Accounts Receivable with a Healthcare Product Distributor.
Denise Ream, R.N.
Denise Ream, R. N., B.S.N., Director of Behavioral Health Care Coordinator holds an associate’s degree in nursing from Hocking College in Nelsonville and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Kent State University. She joined the health center in 2015 with 21 years of nursing experience in many areas such as medical/surgical, emergency and cardiovascular to name a few. Denise is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and the American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nursing. She was also a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and the Golden Key International Honour Society while studying at Kent State. Committees she is involved with include, Project FORT, the Suicide Prevention Coalition, Fairfield County Community Needs Assessment and the Fairfield County Obesity Coalition.
Mary Lu Bowman, R.N.
Mary Lu Bowman, RN-Care coordinator, is a Fairfield County native who brings 40 years of experience with her. She obtained her LPN degree from Hocking College in Nelsonville, Ohio. Her experiences have included hospital nursing for over 32 years with 21 years as a Nurse Manager on a Telemetry/Step down unit. She was also a Rehab Nursing Director at a skilled nursing facility, Case Manager for Home Health agency and currently serves as a Care Coordinator at Fairfield Community Health Center in Lancaster, Ohio.
Jacqueline Howard, Organizational Development Manager brings with her over 20 years of experience in health care. She obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in both Journalism and Communications from Mount Vernon Nazarene University. Her past experience in Public Relations and Development have equipped her with the tools to serve Fairfield Community Health Center since 2013.
Jacqueline is a member of the Lancaster Rotary, serves on its Board of Directors, the Froebel Study Group, the Worship and Music Committee of 6th Ave. Methodist Church where she has been a pianist for 10 years and is active with Destination Downtown Lancaster, the Lancaster-Fairfield Chamber of Commerce and Garrett Players. Some of her hobbies include, cooking, sewing, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.
Laura Parpart, Outreach and Enrollment Specialist, is a 2010 graduate of Eastern University in Michigan. Laura majored in Communications and has worked in many areas of marketing and business promotions. She enjoys keeping the health center’s social media sites fresh and is excited to be able to assist people in a non-profit organization.
Natasha Hayman, Medical Records Specialist a native of Lancaster has worked in the healthcare field for over 11 years. She first started as a State Tested Nurse Assistant and worked with nursing facilities and home health agencies until receiving her Certification in Medical Assisting through Fairfield Career Center. Natasha joined Fairfield Community Health Center in 2015 and before working with medical records, she worked at the Hunter Trace Center.
Lisa McDuffie, Medical Records Specialist, has been working in Medical Records at the health center for the past seven years. She began working in customer service at the Opryland Hotel in Nashville where she met her future husband and moved back to her native town of Lancaster. Her education came from Southeastern Business College where she earned an Associate’s Degree as a medical administrative assistant. Lisa worked at the East Main Center until joining the administrative team in 2018. When she’s not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family.
Stephanie Groff, Director of Process Improvement joined Fairfield Community Health Center in 2011 bringing with her 5 years of professional clinic experience. Her certification as a medical assistant has enabled her to effectively perform the duties of improving the day to day workflow in the clinic sites. She leads a team of “champions” in process improvement, and ensures all quality measures in the clinics are met to maintain Patient-Centered Medical Home Recognition. Currently, Stephanie is working on obtaining her bachelor’s degree in health care management from Franklin University.
